Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.
Asking again...
Workspace: Notes, Verse on Premises, Verse Mobile · Category: Mail template
Problem. Users keep mails in the inbox as reminders because there is no way to hide a mail and get it back later. Follow-up flags and Needs Action list the mail elsewhere, but the inbox stays cluttered. Gmail, Outlook and Fastmail all offer snooze; snooze ideas on this portal so far cover only calendar alarms.
Proposal. Add a Snooze action (later today, tomorrow, next week, pick a date). The mail leaves the inbox and returns to the top, marked unread, at that time. Store the wake-up time in the document and let a server task move it back, so snooze works the same in Notes, Verse and Verse Mobile through Traveler. Add a Snoozed view, and an option to snooze a sent mail so it comes back if nobody replied.
Benefit. A cleaner inbox, fewer forgotten follow-ups, and parity with every mainstream mail client.
Related. VRSOP-I-539, NTS-I-88 (alarm snooze only).
How this differs. Both related ideas snooze calendar alarms, not mail. This one snoozes the mail document itself, with a server-side wake-up so the result is the same in Notes, Verse and on Traveler devices. It is a new request, not a duplicate.
