Introduce a centralized user management capability in the HCL Leap Portal that allows administrators to manage users across multiple applications from a single interface.
Currently, when an administrator needs to add or manage a user across multiple applications, the same activity has to be performed individually for each application. For example, if an organization has 100 applications, an administrator may need to add the same user to all 100 applications separately, resulting in significant manual effort and a higher risk of inconsistencies.
The proposed capability should allow administrators to:
Add or remove a user across multiple selected applications in a single action.
Bulk-add or bulk-remove users across multiple applications.
View which applications a particular user has access to.
Manage user access centrally from the Leap Portal.
Support user migration when moving a Leap application from DEV to UAT or PROD.
During application migration, provide an option to identify which users should be migrated to the target environment and which users should not.
Differentiate between environment-specific users and actual/business users. For example, a user created only for development or testing in DEV should not automatically be migrated to UAT or PROD, while actual business users may need to be carried forward.
Provide an option to review, select, or exclude users before migrating the application from DEV → UAT → PROD.
Maintain appropriate user access and roles in the target environment without requiring administrators to manually recreate users.
This capability would significantly reduce administrative effort, simplify bulk user management, and provide better control over user access during application deployment and migration across DEV, UAT, and PROD environments.
