Yes if MCP for Domino Mail etc is the easiest path to achieve the same thing then great. I am already looking at creating an MCP Server for Domino leveraging DRAPI however this will run as a separate server effectively. The ideal scenario of course is for HCL to deliver this as part of the Domino package.
With regards the Verse UI having more extensions points would be great however that is probably a separate topic.
It seems that what you're actually asking for is not an "MCP server for HCL Verse". You're asking for an MCP server for Domino Mail, Calendar and Directory capabilities.
This would enable any AI logic running outside of Domino to gain easy-to-implement access to selected Domino mail, calendar, and directory functions.
Do you also envision any type of integration in the Verse Web or Verse mobile UI? If yes, could you please share more details about such a specific scenario?
