Permit me to be direct yet professional here. It is obnoxious to expect users to believe they are using enterprise grade tools when they can type an email address in Notes, but then on their mobile phone, they cannot send an email to that person unless they remember the address. Same with Verse Web. Worse, if you store a subset of email on the mobile client, you may not have a copy of a prior message to extract the address.
Whether a name of a vendor, or a PNAB group to be efficient with mail creation, it is baffling why HCL still prevents this level of obvious and end-user expected productivity.
There are several ideas here going back three to six years. I think the slow progress is due to this being considered a bug rather than an enhancement. Creating a new all-encompassing one.
The user should be able to type on all three primary tools:
The name of a recent contact and have the address appear
Type part of the name, e.g. domain, and have the matching names appear
Thank you for your consideration of this request as this an issue.
