Users from Marketing and other areas work with dynamic lists to send mails.
They have spreadsheets with hundreds of contacts, and depending on the campaign, they select some of them in order to send mails to them.
When copying the list of contacts from the Spreadsheet and pasting it into a New compose window in the To field, all emails are pasted as text but separated by spaces, which is not valid.
We have tried using the Transpose feature of Spreadsheets in order to try copying the emails transposed, but the result is the same.
As a workaround, we suggested customer to add a "," to the end of the contact in their Spreadsheet (we helped them using a formula), and when copying the list including the comma at the end, this was pasted properly as email contacts in the New compose window.
Verse on-Premise UI should parse the "Tab" character that Spreadsheets uses for separating data in different cells into a "," when pasting data into the To/CC/BCC field of a New compose window.
Have you thought about saving them to a csv and then importing that?
