Thank you for this request. As mentioned, setting the client server host and ports are supported via managed settings. Specifically this is achieved via the managed-community-config.xml file.
We have that through managed settings today. Yes, this needs some rework as "Policies" and "Settings" overlap a lot in functions and settings are absolutely uncomfortable to manage.
