Welcome to the #dominoforever Product Ideas Forum! The place where you can submit product ideas and enhancement request. We encourage you to participate by voting on, commenting on, and creating new ideas. All new ideas will be evaluated by HCL Product Management & Engineering teams, and the next steps will be communicated. While not all submitted ideas will be executed upon, community feedback will play a key role in influencing which ideas are and when they will be implemented.
My suggestion:
Store color profile documents on the server in names.nsf (then replicate them to local names)
Color profile document 1 = light
Color profile document 2 = dark
The user selects their active color profile, and it is saved for the Notes client in notes.ini
Such a document contains standard color specifications (primary color, secondary color, respective font colors, etc.)—like a CSS style
As developers, we would be able to specify these color name variables in the design
While loading the design into desktop8.ndk, the colors are replaced with the correct color values
Wouldn’t that be possible?
@HCL Are you still working on this? It wouldn't hurt to get at least some information - and not nothing.
4 yrs later, this is still desperately needed by many company employees, please add!
But in HCL, does anyone care about what the community has been asking for years? We are asking to have the ability to change the background color of emails, it doesn't seem like a very complex function to implement!
And of course this must also be available on Nomad Web & Mobile!
Is there a Dark Mode for notes yet?
also missing this feature..
OMG! Finally!
Can you sort this on Domino Designer too please? Light mode incinerates my retinas daily. Sorely (and I mean that literally) needed!
Please for the love of my eyeballs... give me eye strain relieving Dark Mode.
IBM Notes Dark Mode When? Imagine reading mails all day during work. This might be the only remaining application to adopt dark mode in my pc.
Up!
When is this idea scheduled for review? It was created over 2 years ago. A comment from HCL would be appreciated.
