In HCL Notes 14.5.1 FP1 with Sametime 12.0.4, users can choose between the Web Chat and Rich Client Chat interfaces.

Reactions added directly to chat messages in the Web Chat interface are not displayed in the Rich Client Chat interface.

As a result, these reactions are not synchronized between the two chat interfaces and are effectively lost when switching from Web Chat to Rich Client Chat.


It would be highly appreciated if a solution could be provided. Alternatively, users should at least be clearly informed about the limitations of this functionality.
