Display Field Hint Text for Blank Fields When Opening a Document in Edit Mode


The Field Hint is displayed only when a document is created and opened in New mode.
When an existing document is opened in Edit mode using NotesUIWorkspace.EditDocument, the Field Hint is not displayed, even if the field is blank.
The same behaviour is observed when an existing document is opened manually in Edit mode from the Notes client. Therefore, the behaviour is not specific to NotesUIWorkspace.EditDocument.

Expected Behaviour

When an existing document is opened in Edit mode—whether manually or through NotesUIWorkspace.EditDocument the Notes client should display the Field Hint for any field that is blank, in the same manner as when a new document is created.
