Current Behavior: The HCL Connections Desktop Plug-in successfully adds the "HCL Connections" and "My Drive on <Connections_Site_Name>" locations to the standard Windows File Explorer navigation pane. Our users highly value this integration.
However, when saving an attachment directly from HCL Notes, the "Save Attachment" dialog does not inherit these locations. It only displays default Windows items ("Home", "Desktop", "Libraries", "This PC", and "Network").
Desired Behavior: We request that the HCL Notes "Save Attachment" dialog be updated to recognize and display the "HCL Connections" and "My Drive on <Connections_Site_Name>" locations in its navigation pane when the desktop plug-in is installed.
Business Value: Adding this would provide a seamless user experience across the OS and the Notes client, saving users time and encouraging the adoption of Connections as the primary file repository.
Note: I have attached screenshots comparing the standard Windows File Explorer navigation pane with the current HCL Notes "Save Attachment" dialog.
