We have certain expectations based on the way modern browsers work. Specifically:
- If I drag a tab outside of the Notes client, that should be the obvious trigger to "Open in New Window". I shouldn't have to right click to get to that feature.
- Tabs should really have even widths, and then when you close one, they should maintain their sizes for a second. This is so when you want to close 3 or 7 or 12 tabs, the little "x" isn't jumping around to various different spots! We need the ability to rapid-fire close things, just like you can do in any browser.
- Would be really nice in the "Windows" menu item to have a "Close All" option. And maybe a "merge" option, if you want to bring back in windows you opened as new windows outside the client.
- Finally, right now if you close all your tabs, for some bizarre reason the right sidebar disappears! Sametime contacts and Day-at-a-glance? ::poof!:: Gone. For me this is very unexpected behavior. We've opened a support ticket but were informed it's behaving as intended. I personally don't think this is the desired behavior.

Once the Tabzilla plugin is installed, you will see new right-click menu options for each open tab in the Notes client:
Close All – closes all open tabs
Close Others – closes all the open tabs except the one you right-clicked
Close All To The Right – closes all the open tabs to the right of the one you right-clicked
Reopen Last Closed Tab – reopens the last tab you closed
Recently Closed Tabs... – displays a list of all tabs you've closed, and you can select one or more to reopen

An option "open in window X" would be nice, too. This is for the case when a user already has some separate windows opened.
Or, make bookmarks and desktop (not just the "open file" menu) accessible/utilizable in separated windows.
Also closing multiple tabs like in browsers would be nice:
Close other tabs
Close tabs to the left
Close tabs to the right
These is a great idea. Additional suggestion: it would be nice to be able to move individual tabs from one window to another, just like in browsers.

Open in New Window hasn't worked since 9.0 for us, new window doesn't render fully. IBM blame it on bespoke mail views but I'm not having that. Wish we could get back to it working as designed, but either way with the status looks like it is going to get some attention.
