In past years, IBM provided FP/IF for everyone, but in recent years, IBM restricted download of FP/IF for only users who have maintenance agreement , may be, because IBM decided to implement new functions in FP(changed fix pack to feature pack).
I think , IBM would like to get maintenance revenue by this strategy, but Notes/Domino market was going to more small.
IBM do same strategies in order to get revenue(i.e. high cost Designer lisence etc.), but all strategies are failed and IBM lost many users, and then IBM decided to change these strategies, but it was too late.
In Japan, many users are migrating to O365 from Notes/Domino, I would like to stop.
Currently IBM/HCL shipped V10 in last year and announced shipping V11 in this year, I think FP(feature pack) will no longer include new functions.
So please provide FP/IF(bug fix only) for all users ,even if who don't have maintenance agreement , in order to keep current users, mimimize lost users and get more users.
MS provide fix for OS/Office products for all users w/o maintenance, Notes/Domino is office products for us.
You SHOULD understand current Notes/Domino status.
Notes/Domino may be dead.
