other mail clients have a hardcoded./ fixed limit of recipients. If you want to manage sending to large amounts of recipients, please consider using a Domino application like EasyMail or a marketing campaign tool like HCL Unica

Sending a large number of recipients at once can cause 64K errors, but in practice, users shouldn't be allowed to send such emails in the first place, as this can lead to being blacklists. Our workaround is to customize an AP DB specifically for sending these types of emails; this is most commonly used for marketing eDM emails. Hopefully, Domino can add this simple enhancement.
