Currently when any user (who is allowed to send mail to a large group) sends a huge mail with attachment (say 10 MB), then it takes lot of space on server and affects server performance. Such mail can be sent by the sender multiple times in a day and there is no control of administrator over it.
So there is a feature request to send a notification or alert to the Administrator base on predefined conditions like when mail exceeds xx recipients and over specified size then the notification or alert should go to Administrator and if Administrator approves it then only the mail should get delivered, otherwise the mail should be returned to the sender.
Using server rules you can hold the mail in mail.box but there is no way to send the alert to Administrator for approval and no way to Administrator to reject or approve it as well.
Please provide this feature so that Administrator can block unwanted bulk traffic in their server based on prdefined conditions.
This feature request is submitted for Domino 12.0.2 version.
Already now you can configure the maximum message size as a policy for your users. You can also limit the number of recipients.
